Powelectrics partners, Vectec Ltd, have launched a new website to promote their range of fuel management solutions, incorporating Powelectrics Metron4 hardware and MetronView cloud.
Established in 1994, Vectec supply, install, maintain and decommission vehicle refuelling facilities for blue light services, local authorities and commercial companies across Great Britain.
Vectec install fuel tanks, pumps and fuel management systems and deliver planned maintenance schemes, particularly to our essential fire, police and ambulance services.
Many of their blue light and other clients are referenced on this new web site, which you can access by clicking here.
They include a range of enterprises for whom fuel management is essential to maintain service, safety and security, including passenger transport, parcel delivery, retail distribution and even secure cash handling!
Vectec MD, Simon Fowler, commented:
“Vectec worked with Powelectrics IIoT kit for ten years, involving hundreds of regular tank level installations, prior to launching our fuel theft detection system.
They offer us great technical support and the kit is consistently robust and reliable!
The API on MetronView cloud has allowed us to draw data into our own application-specific platforms. The beauty of the Metron4 is its flexibility and we aim to develop it for other purposes in the future.”
Vectec have fitted Metron4 IIoT devices at many customer sites, to measure the level of gas and liquid in storage tanks. Levels can be shown on the local display and transmitted to the Metronview website at regular intervals.
Metronview allows the user to see the latest and historic readings. Customers can also receive automated alerts for high and low stocks, refuel alerts and alerts for exceptional occurrences such as theft or leakage.
Vectec is OFTEC registered and ISO9001:2008, Safecontractor and Constructionline accredited.
The next stage of Vectec’s digital development programme will be to monitor the condition of fuel dispensers and predict equipment failures before they occur.
