PowTechnology Welcomes Mike Warnes To Our Development Team
PowTechnology are delighted to welcome Mike Warnes, who has joined us as a Lead Developer. Mike is a cross-platform .net technology professional, who brings three decades of experience from a range of industry sectors, encompassing retail, construction, logistics and workplace management.
“I was attracted to PowTechnology as an agile environment, where I could make a real impact and a great opportunity to apply my expertise with an established IoT specialist. It’s been a fascinating role so far. PowTechnology have been intelligent automation specialists for 35 years. I’m delighted to building on the legacy of modular, highly scalable digital transformation ‘building blocks’, which will allow us to maintain our versatility, enabling the speedy development of custom digital transformation solutions.
It’s been a surprising role too! As well as working on bespoke IIoT projects for global customers, I’ve been able to bring my experience of large-scale IT transformation projects to the immediate challenges and take a lead in the development of our medium/long term strategic planning. It’s great to use my experience more holistically, to inform our development roadmap and generate our vision going forward.
Everyone has made me feel very welcome and I’m excited about expanding the “Metronverse”!
Outside of work, Mike enjoys off-road biking, hiking with his family and 3-year-old cavapoo. He is ‘re-learning’ piano and banjo, with the objective of playing in a band and also a keen supporter of Liverpool Football Club, which is making him very happy at the moment!
