Permark MD
The Task
Permark supply fuel management systems, pump units, fuel storage and dispensing technology. Klass Oil supply fuels to many Irish homes and businesses. They wanted to standardise stock monitoring and ordering for fuel storage tanks across their six depots.
The Solution
PowTechnology’s proprietary Metron hardware and MetronView software was installed on depot tanks, delivering regular, reliable level data and low level alerts, which prompt centralised stock ordering. Initial installations on SFGO, kerosene and road diesel in the first depot proved the technology, prior to rollout.
The Result
Advanced warning of low stock levels at Klass Oil depots makes it easier to plan their bulk haulage delivery schedule. Run-outs are eliminated along with expensive emergency fuel deliveries and the risk of having an idle fleet and frustrated customers.
