PowTechnology Launch MetronEx ATEX Certified IIoT Hardware!

PowTechnology are delighted to launch the MetronEx as the latest addition to our Metron range of IIoT gateways. This is the first of a series of exciting launches planned for Q3/Q4 and will be ideal for rapidly growing application areas within chemicals, oil and gas, water and waste amongst others.

MetronEx is based on our robust, proven Metron telemetry hardware, integrated for secure remote monitoring of sensors in hazardous areas. (Zone 2 and 22)

As with existing Metron telemetry hardware, PowTechnology’s MetronEx is self-contained, weatherproof (IP66), compatible with thousands of sensors, easy to retrofit and remotely configurable via our MetronView cloud.

Reliable data is sent securely to PowTechnology’s MetronView IIoT platform (ISO27001), where unlimited authorised users can be set up, in a permissions hierarchy, to receive data and alerts on any web-enabled device.

The solution is highly scalable, from a single installation to a global estate of connected devices.

•        4G (LTE-M & NB1) & 2G connectivity.

•        Self-contained, weatherproof device (IP66).

•        Enclosure 312 x 388 x 221 mm. Approx 10Kg.

•        Powder coated, marine grade copper-free aluminium alloy.

•        Battery-powered (rechargeable 12.8V 15AH). Other power options on request.

•        Operational temperatures – 25 to +65°C.

•        Remotely programmable (data intervals, scaling, units, tag names, thresholds & more).

•        Compatible with 1000’s of sensors.

•        Multi-network, global roaming sim card (450 networks, 150 countries).

•        Easy to retrofit.
