PowTechnology partners with ROSCOs, such as Angel Trains to develop rail condition-monitoring digital transformation solutions. We have delivered the largest estate of retrofitted remote condition monitoring units in the UK rail network.

Our transport IIoT kit helps extend asset longevity and ensure passenger safety and comfort, delivering data and alerts to our MetronView cloud or  via an interoperable API into bespoke portals.

PowTechnology’s remote monitoring technology has been exhibited on the Porterbrook Innovation Train.

We are currently engaged in a number of transport R&D projects aimed at the rail industry, including collaborations with UK universities and industry research specialists.

PowTechnology’s proven and approved IIoT solutions are deployed in projects relating to level on fuel and coolant and temperature on exhausts, charge air, bearings, alternators, gearboxes, battery chargers, saloons and air flow.

Projects improve process efficency, highlight maintenance needs and support environmental compliance and organisational sustainability goals.

International trackside projects include safety projects for level crossings, trackside grease applicators and track temperature and we have also developed condition-monitoring solutions for traffic lights on roads.
