PowTechnology Were Feeling The Chemistry at CHEMUK!
The PowTechnology stand was packed at CHEMUK, held at the NEC, Birmingham on 15 and 16 May! It was great to welcome so many colleagues and customers. We were excited to receive so many new enquiries and discuss a broad range of new IIoT applications!
This year’s show offered over 600 exhibitors and attracted over 6,500 attendees, 17% up on 2023.
In addition to exhibiting, PowTechnology participated in the presentation programme for the third consecutive year.
It was superbly delivered by Will Brown, an IIoT Solutions Architect with PowTechnology. With a Postgrad in Process Automation, Instrumentation and Control and practical experience from roles with Schneider and Emerson as well as PowTechnology, he certainly understands instrumentation!
Will discussed how the regulatory environment within the chemical industry is evolving to promote greater sustainability, amplifying the focus on emissions, energy, water, material efficiency and reuse.
From our experience, many organisations are not yet monitoring key processes holistically, consistently or with enough granularity for effective compliance reporting.
The presentation explored the most effective IIOT technologies and how they can be deployed into new processes and easily retrofitted. Will demonstrated via real applications, how intelligent deployment of remote monitoring can deliver robust and dramatic results, even with modest investment.
